Twinkle Khanna Talks About Living With ‘Guilt’ Of Being An Imperfect Mother, Says She Is Far from Perfect
The actress turned writer, Twinkle Khanna is an avid social media user. With her puns, she keeps her fans entertained. Twinkle also regularly shares adorable family moments on the picture-sharing app, Instagram.
On Wednesday, Mrs. Funnybones took to Instagram and shared a picture that features her nine-year-old daughter Nitara. Along with the click, Khanna opened up on being ‘far from a perfect mother’. She poured her heart out on living with the guilt of being imperfect as a mother in a long written note.
In the photo shared by Twinkle, she and Nitara are seen seated on a bed while the actor-turned-author is reaching out to Nitara for a kiss.
The captioned of her post reads, “A mother needs to keep an eye on her child’s mind as much as she does on her homework. She must follow the tendrils of her thoughts, and each time she sees something askew, she has to nudge it back in place and she needs to do this every single day.”
“I may be far from perfect and I live with that guilt like most other members that belong to this tribe, but if I can do this much, then that’s good enough and perhaps good enough is as marvellous as we all need to be,” she added.
The post shared by the actress received a positive response from netizens and celebrities. Actress, Dia Mirza, and Tahira Kashyap dropped heart emojis in the comments section. Out of many fans’ comments, one wrote, “Truly agreed.. being a mother is Supreme of all jobs on earth.” Another commented, “Brilliant ma’am, this is very important to get connected with your child and I appreciate your thoughts.”
