Deepika Padukone is one of the biggest stars of Bollywood and is not only on a professional high but also her personal life is going great. She is married to Ranveer Singh and is continuously delivering hit movies. But there was a time when all was not well in her personal life.

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were one of the most famous Bollywood couples. They were in a relationship for quite some time and many expected them to tie the knot as well. In a throwback interview with a Verve magazine, Deepika had said that while she had never cheated or strayed when she was in a relationship, it was not the same as Ranbir Kapoor.

She had added that despite everyone around her was telling that Ranbir was still straying, she was foolish enough to give him a second chance. It didn’t end well as she caught him cheating red-handed.

Deepika further revealed that the first time around, she thought something was wrong with the relationship of her but then she realized that if someone makes a habit of it then there’s something wrong with the person only. She said that “trust and loyalty are the pillars of relationships that one should not mess around with.”

She said, “I guess I really wanted to believe in him. Then I actually caught him red-handed. It took me a while to get out. But having done that, nothing can make me go back. That ship has sailed.”

Deepika was last seen in the movie ‘Chappak’ and will be next seen in the movie ‘83′ along with her husband Ranveer Singh.
