Actor Jimmy Sheirgill And Namit Das To Star In The Netflix Upcoming Heist Comedy Series Choona. The Series Will Be Released Soon.
Following is the first glance of the upcoming series titled ‘Choona’ starring Jimmy Sheirgill, along with other interesting facts about its conspiracy. Filmmaker Pushpendra Nath Misra on Wednesday announced his upcoming Netflix series Choona, starring Jimmy Sheirgill, Namit Das, and Monika Panwar. The show will mark the Ghoomketu director into the long-form series format.
A heist comedy-drama, Choona follows an unlikely group of people who band together to take down a common enemy, a corrupt politician who has wronged them, using ‘Jugaad’ as their only weapon. The ensemble cast also includes Aashim Gulati, Vikram Kochhar, Gyanendra Tripathi, Chandan Roy, Atul Srivastava, and Niharika Lyra Dutt.

The official Twitter handle of Netflix India has formally introduced the upcoming project and shared one of its initial posters. The poster gives off an intense look, as Sheirgill and the rest of the cast members sport a somber expression on their faces. They have also shared a small phrase hinting at the theme of the series which reads, ‘The hustle is real. Don’t be fooled. While the first look of the series has been made public, not much has been revealed about what to expect from it.
