Although admirers of Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur expressed happiness over the latest advertisement, some fans questioned whether the breakup had occurred.
At least for a new advertisement, actors Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapurare are back. The stars, who have been dating since 2022, had reportedly called it quits, but a new promotional video has surprised their fans, who are now speculating if the couple is still indeed together.
Ananya and Aditya “Effortless chemistry”
Ananya and Aditya on Friday shared a new advertisement for an eyewear brand. The actors in the video experiment with new glasses, and their effortless chemistry makes the advertisement work.
The rumoured couple poses, jokes around, moves their bodies and playfully interacts with each other in the video despite not saying a word. Naturally, when the video was released amid rumours that the two had broken up last month, the actors’ fans were ecstatic.

More details on the couple
The two reportedly dated for two years, from August 2022 until March 2024, but they refrained from confirming their relationship publicly.
According to the Bombay Times, a friend close to the couple said, “They broke up almost a month ago. They were going quite well, and the breakup came as a shock to all of us. They are cordial with each other. Ananya is trying to move on, of course, there’s hurt. She is spending time with her new furry friend. Aditya is also trying to deal with the situation maturely.”
On the work front, Aditya Roy Kapur will be next seen in Metro In Dino, which Anurag Basu will direct.
Ananya Panday, who ended last year on a good note with “Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan”, will star in Shankara, featuring Akshay Kumar and backed by Karan Johar. The film is currently in post-production.
