In this episode actress Radhika Apte was seen playing the role of a Dalit woman called Pallavi Menke. Author Yashica Dutt claimed that the makers have used her work or life in this particular episode without her consent or permission. Previously Zoya Akhtar brushed off the claims and now joins Radhika who broke her silence on Dutt’s claims.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Radhika Apte finally spoke on the claims brought by the Dalit author Yashica Dutt that the makers have showcased her life in the 8th episode of Made In Heaven 2.
On this matter, Apte said, “I strongly feel that no matter what both the parties are talking about and feeling, I know for a fact that neither of them (makers of the show and the author) want the good effects or the good consequences of this episode to be diminished even for a minute.”
She further added that they both are on the same side when it comes to “championing the cause and saying that it is a great thing that an episode about this issue has come on a mainstream platform, and it shouldn’t be canceled or should be banned. It should be only looked at positively.” The actress ended with, “We are all on the same side in the end.”
