‘Forgot That I Was A Star’: Zayed Khan Opened Up On His Self Care Regime After Facing Multiple Rejections!

Bollywood actor Zayed Khan, who has worked in multiple Bollywood films like ‘Main Hoon Na’, ‘Vaada’, and ‘Shaadi No. 1’, is away from acting from a long time. However, the actor is now prepping for his second innings in films. Zayed is going to make a comeback in the industry.

Recently, he has opened up on the difficult times of his life. Zayed told that he had stopped taking care of himself after facing multiple rejections. According to him, when his friend recently offered him a film, he looked like a baingan (brinjal).

Zayed faced several rejections

Discussing the time before getting the offer of his comeback film, Zayed said, “About a year and a half ago I was going through a bad phase of my life. I had stopped taking care of myself as so many people had rejected me. Because of this, I had forgotten that I was once a star too.”

Zayed further said that when his friend Aseem came to him, he was also shocked as he was not getting any work despite being good looking.

The actor stated, “I did not tell Aseem that I had gone to some studios, but things did not work out anywhere.’ After this Aseem offered a film to Zayed, after which Zayed himself was also surprised. The actor says, ‘I was confused because at that time I looked like a baingan (brinjal).”

Zayed’s upcoming film

Zayed revealed that the two together wrote the entire film which is a mockumentary titled TFTNW in about six months. He said that this film, which will be released on OTT, will be liked by everyone, from a 10-year-old child to a 90-year-old. Zayed will also soon share the screen with his father Sanjay Khan in a film.

For the unversed, Zayed Khan gained popularity by laying the role of Shahrukh Khan’s younger brother in the film ‘Main Hoon Na’. He was last seen in the TV show ‘Haasil’ in the year 2017.
