On an emotional level, Imran reflected on his struggles during an interview with Vogue India. He disclosed his decision to leave Bollywood after “Katti Batti” in 2015, which many believed was due to a string of box office failures.

He further explained that he couldn’t just party or socialize in hopes of getting a film offer. He said, “I felt broken from within, and I wanted to fix that. If you pull a hamstring, you go to a physiotherapist. If you have mental issues, you go to a therapist.”

During the interview, he also disclosed that for the past seven years, he has had appointments with his doctor four times a week, which he termed as his “decisive decision” in life.

He explained, “If you talk to someone who has quit smoking or quit drinking, they can tell you how many days it has been since they’ve touched a cigarette or had a drink. It’s the same with me and my mental health. I realized it on March 13, 2017. It’s been 2,500 days since then.”

Imran has separated from his wife Avantika Malik and is co-parenting their daughter Imara. Currently, Imran is dating actress Lekha Washington, Aamir’s nephew. Now, Imran is ready for a comeback, and he will soon be seen making a splash in Bollywood films again.

Imran Khan was last seen in the film “Katti Batti,” which also starred Kangana Ranaut. The film didn’t fare well at the box office. During his time away from films, he spent a lot of time watching movies at home.
