Actress Anushka Sharma Called ‘Qala’ A Work Of True Art; Deets Inside!

Bollywood’s charming queen ‘Anushka Sharma’ is all set to hit back to the Indian Cinema. The actress took a long break from the industry and now she is back on the silver screen soon. The ‘Rab Ne Bna Di Jodi’ famed currently working on Chakda Xpress. This will be a sports biopic and soon be released on the OTT platform. The lifeline of Cricketer Viral Kohli is juggling between her personal life and professional commitments.

From such a busy schedule, Anushka caught up some time for the musical drama ‘Qala’. She also did a Cameo in the movie and featured in the same song ‘Ghode Pe Sawar.’ Qala is the latest release on Netflix, starring Triptii and Babul Khan, son of Irfan Khan. Anushka worked with Triptii in her production Bulbul, released on Netflix. Anushka was so impressed and mesmerized by the theme, story and performance of not only the main characters but the entire cast.

Anushka shared the post via her social media accounts. She wrote, “A daughter’s heartbreaking yearning for her mother’s love. Qala is a work of art. It’s heartbreaking and exhilarating equally. Exhilarating because of the genius of each department that comes through in telling this detailed story and heartbreaking for portraying emotional abuse by an emotionally unstable parent in a way that’s never been done before by a film.” Anushka claimed the movie as true work of art.

Qala is a period Drama, that depicts the story of a singer who is trying to balance her equation with her mother and scrolling the ladder of success. It is sets in 1930s Kolkata.
