A video from one of Alia Bhatt’s Cornetto India commercials was recently shared on Reddit. She looked adorable in the video wearing a denim top with designs in shades of white. She accessorised her look with delicate cosmetics including flushed and accentuated cheekbones, tiny eyeliner strokes, and sheer lipstick. She looked lovely with her hair left loose. The actress was overheard describing what “OG fun” means to her. She clarified that it’s enjoyable to finish her work quickly and head home.
However, the Redditor shared Alia’s video with the caption, “Alia makes a weird face trying too hard to look cute in an ad.” And as soon as it surfaced online, netizens started making fun of her look yet again. One netizen wrote, “I also have dimples and they only appear when I talk or smile a certain way. Alia is trying way too hard to show her dimples which to be honest do nothing to accentuate her features, except make her look silly.” However, contrary to this, another netizen mentioned, “I don’t think she is trying hard to show her dimples, her dimples are very much visible when she talks normally. Alia soon began to receive unfavourable attention due to the size of her lips. Several internet users remarked on the photo as soon as it was uploaded, claiming that Alia had overlined her lips to give the appearance of plumpness. Others mentioned that the actress had used botox and minimal fillers to obtain the same look.

Additionally, on May 14, 2023, when Alia was photographed at the Mumbai airport, online users attacked her appearance once more. That happened when Alia was flying to Seoul for an event following her appointment as Gucci’s global ambassador. Gucci is a luxury brand. She wore a white shirt, loose denim trousers and a big denim overcoat for her journey that day. On the other hand, as soon as her photos were posted on social media, people began equating her appearance with Deepika Padukone. Her imitation of Deepika’s airport shopping binge was also criticised.
