Producer Boney Kapoor Gives Green Signal for “Mr. India 2”; Collaboration with Western Studio Possible

There have been various speculations surrounding the sequel to the 1987 blockbuster film “Mr. India,” starring Anil Kapoor and Sridevi. However, there hasn’t been any confirmed news about “Mr. India 2” until now. But finally, the producer of the film, Boney Kapoor, has shared an exclusive update on the women’s era regarding “Mr. India 2.” In an exclusive interview with Women’s Era, Boney Kapoor officially announced the beginning of “Mr. India 2” by putting the project into motion. Moreover, he has provided an exciting update about the star cast, which will surely elevate the excitement level of the fans.

During the interview, when asked about the release date and the certainty of “Mr. India,” Boney said, “Mr. India is definitely happening, and it will arrive in due time. I have recently approached foreign studios, including Western Studio, for ‘Mr. India 2.’ It is possible that ‘Mr. India 2’ will be a collaborative effort between Boney Kapoor Productions, XYZ, and Western Studio. Everything is in the initial stages, so I cannot reveal much about it right now.”

Furthermore, when questioned about the star cast of “Mr. India 2,” Boney hinted, “Talking about the star cast will be premature at this moment.”

Speaking about the original “Mr. India,” directed by Shekhar Kapoor and produced by Boney Kapoor, the film featured Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, and Satish Kaushik in lead roles.
